Kate and Stacey

First met at a children's party 12 years ago with two things in common. They were both pregnant with their third child and both had a vested interest in all things sweet on the buffet tables.

Having now shared many happy years of friends and families, food is still their common denominator.

Both girls have cooked and baked (and eaten) incessantly. In December 2011, walking past a teashop, they joked, "we can do better than that!" which was promptly followed by, "Well, why don't we?"

After six months of research, reading and recipes, Merengé was born from friendship, love of food and a passion for all things gorgeous.
